There are two things in life that Jan loves: People and Travel. Jan's background is 34 years in health care and has had a rewarding career as an Emergency Room nurse in a local hospital. She has also had the opportunity to act as a staff nurse on numerous cruise ships in Alaska and through the Panama Canal. She and her husband Mark, a teacher, have travelled extensively and have guided groups of secondary school students in North America and Europe.
